Alana M. Miller is a writer, artist, and ontologist whose work examines the things that you can see, taste, and feel.

As a librarian by trade, Alana revels in collecting, connecting, and disseminating oddball ideas about material culture, media, and foodways.

She has published work in Broccoli Mag, The Billfold, and MoMA’s Inside/Out blog. She is the co-creator of the food-art happening Astrolocheese and co-host of the podcast The Soak, an auditory exploration of bathing across time and space.

Alana resides in the East Bay of Northern California. You can find her hoarding books, weaving, organizing double features, and making big meals to share.
